Equitas Academy #5 is the third elementary school founded by Equitas Academy, and its founder Malka Borrego. In September 2019, Equitas Academy #5 opened it's doors to 120 Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students. In September 2020, it will grow to include 1st grade.  Continuing Equitas' mission to serve the Pico Union community, Equitas Academy #5 will add one grade level each year, culminating in 2023-2024 when it will serve grades TK to 4th.
